Cork today is a prosperous and international city, recently voted one of the top ten cities in the world by Lonely Plant, visited by thousands every year, and loved by its inhabitants. From a medieval walled town to a bustling port and now a modern, thriving city, Cork's landscape has changed enormously in the last 300 years. This unique collection of Cork memorabilia visually captures Cork's evolution with selection of advertisements, maps, sketches, postcards, and photographs that have taken many years to collect. ""In a way never seen before Lenihan's new book visually captures the city's rapid evolution through a series of judiciously chosen photographs, post cards, maps, sketches and drawings, bringing to life the sights and sounds of the rebel city in the process.""-Irish Voice, April 11, 2012
