About the Author
Robert Graves was an English poet, classical scholar, novelist, and critic who is best known for Greek Myths, I, Claudius, and The White Goddess. Joshua Podro was a journalist, a secretary of the British section of the World Jewish Congress, and a member of the Zionist Organization Executive at the 20th Zionist Congress in Geneva. He and Robert Graves are the coauthors of Jesus in Rome. John Presley is an English professor, a provost, and the vice president for academic affairs at Illinois State University. He has published almost 40 pieces of scholarship on Robert Graves, including The Robert Graves Manuscripts and Letters at Southern Illinois University: An Inventory. He lives in Normal, Illinois.
