About the Author

Chris McGillion is the religious affairs columnist for the Sydney Morning Herald. His writing has appeared in The Age, National Catholic Reporter, Christian Science Monitor, Miami Herald, and Baltimore Sun. He is the author of Disobedient Generals and the Politics of Redemocratization, The Clinton Administration and Haiti, and Playing the Lone Cowboy. He is a senior lecturer in print journalism at Charles Sturt University.
