Synopsis

When the high priestess entrusts her with the secret of the tenth power, Calwyn realizes she must find a way to preserve it. Lina Patel renders a clear and sympathetic narration, drawing out the emotions of her characters with a light touch. She provides variety in the voices of the main characters through the judicious use of accents. Her pace is steady and well measured. This is a good choice for family listening.
