About the Author:
Mary-Lou Florian is Research Associate, Emerita, Royal British Columbia Museum. She retired as Head of Conservation Science there in 1991 and prior to that was Senior Conservation Scientist at the Canadian Conservation Institute in Ottawa, Canada.
