Review:
Michael's first hand knowledge of honey, mead and beekeeping is an invaluable foundation for the book he has written. His expertise is a doorway into exquisite taste experiences unavailable to those stumbling, unaware, through their existence. Here, then is Michael Badger's invitation to become one of the enlightened. For those who know mead, and especially well-made mead, it has become a stable, regular part of our lives. It is on our dinner table with roast pork. It is with us in the summer, in the garden, with friends and family. It is on our fishing trips and part of our holiday celebrations. Mead is not a novelty for us; it has become, like good food, beer and wine, a staple of our lives. --Ken Schramm, Schramm's Mead - In Forward of the book
