PreSchool-Grade 1?Accompanied by a 32-page read-along booklet with complete song lyrics, Side A of the cassette features "Al's Alphabet Song" A to Q only, continuing on Side B with R-Z. Performed by an enthusiastic male singer, this upbeat, unique way to sing the letters of the alphabet is followed by "The Funny-Looking Letters Game" featuring the letters T, G, Q, A, K and W in various fonts, both upper and lower case. "The Name Game" features a female vocalist singing verses which include a personal name for every letter of the alphabet. The cassette ends with the traditional alphabet song in chorus, followed by Al's solo version. The booklet features a full page per letter, including both upper and lower case, with six words and pictures for each letter, and a verse with all six words sung, but not in print. Suggested activities are offered for adults wanting to help children recognize letters. Although best suited for use by children with adult reinforcement and encouragement, this package could be enjoyed by children working independently as well.
