He wrote on the suffering of others and himself, on fear, madness, and love. He is every inch the good, grey Canadian poet and doctor.
Poet and doctor Bruce Ruddick was educated at McGill University in literature and medicine. He practiced psychoanalysis in New York for 40 years and his sullen art until his death in December 1992.
