Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Coral Springs, FL: Venture Press, 1998. 1st edition, signed by author on FFE, F/NF. Book has very little wear. DJ is price-clipped, some wear to top of spine light edge wear. Includes b & w photos, copies of documents and one map. Vance perseveres through a labyrinth of obfuscation in trying to arrive at the truth of why this plane blew up over Scotland on its initial flight to return to the States after WWII. What he got from the U.S. government in his quest was permanently sealed documents, an atmosphere clouded in misinformation , denial and ignorance. In other words, passing the buck down the line that never ends. Tragic that this event happened and tragic that uncaring entities that could provide answers, really don't care. Unbelievable, but true. Nice copy, 288 pp. BP. Signed by Author(s). Seller Inventory # 006320
