Reviews
A clinical psychologist in private practice, Twiggs aims to "integrate scientific and technological knowledge with spiritual wisdom." Twiggs unfortunately fails to fill this tall order, instead serving up a series of disjointed assertions. Twiggs states, for example, that "All knowledge emanates from God. This fact was recognized by the great physicist Wolfgang Pauli." While Pauli did collaborate with Carl Jung, no philosopher is going to accept this "fact" based on assertions of Pauli's alleged beliefs. Elsewhere, the author states that "the foundation [of the book] stands on empirical images thrown at me by my own unconscious," demonstrating a unique use of the word empirical. Not recommended; stick with the classic works of Teilhard de Chardin and Jung.?Mary Ann Hughes, Neill P.L., Pullman, Wash.
