This text has been extremely popular for adoption in training courses for police held in community colleges and police academies across the country. We anticipate a revision for 1998 which will update the book to the changing world of policing.

When I write, I strive to create a work that is easy to read and more like a conversation with the reader, rather than an academic compilation of theories. The new manuscript for Basic Patrol Procedures will be complete in the summer of '97 and hopefully the second edition published by Christmas.
