Randolf A. Tobias is chairperson of the Graduate Department of Educational and Community Programs at Queens College of the City University of New York. As a Mellon Fellow in 1983, Dr. Tobias examined supervisory roles aimed at improving curriculum and teaching within alternative neighborhood schools. He has consulted with school systems and universities on curriculum and teaching approaches for increasing the learning potential of the educationally at risk. As an associate professor within the School Administration and Supervision Program at Queens College, Dr. Tobias is currently involved in the training of prospective principals and assistant principals.
