About the Author
Susan J. Farese,MSN, RN, a native of New Jersey, received her Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree from Widener University and Master of Science (MSN) from Seton Hall University.
Her diversified nursing career includes military and civilian nursing within inpatient, outpatient and academic settings- including experience as a clinical nurse in a variety of settings, nurse educator, nurse administrator, legal nurse consultant, and nurse entrepreneur.
Ms. Farese is President/Owner of SJF Communications which provides Public Relations, Publicity, Marketing, Social Media, Websites Speaking, Writing, Filmmaking, Mentoring and Photography.
Susan is a member of Film Consortium San Diego's Advisory Board for San Diego Film Week, SAG-AFTRA, American Legion Post 43, Veterans in Media & Entertainment, San Diego Writers, Ink and the San Diego Press Club.
Susan gives back to her community as a volunteer mentor at San Diego State University in their Aztec Mentor Program and to her alma mater, Widener University.
Susan's passions include birdwatching, nature photography, writing/poetry, as well as film/tv/theatre. Susan is in awe of hummingbirds, seahorses heart-shaped items/art and the colors purple and teal.
She lives in sunny San Diego with her husband Mike, daughter Emmy and also is human caregiver to her family's geriatric tuxedo cat Chloe Marie and Betta Fish Alvin Danny Boy.
