About the Author
G. Lynn Nelson was a professor of English at Arizona State University, where he taught classes in writing. He also served as director of the Greater Phoenix Area Writing Project and founded Native Images, an organization for Native American students. He lived in Tempe, Arizona, until his death in 2014.
