Never content to rest on his laurels, Friedman reopened his vast photo files after the publication of Fuck You Heroes, and before long a second book was assembled: Fuck You Too- The Extras and More. The title sums it up perfectly. With Fuck You Heroes being a serious document of a specific time and group of subjects, this book is a looser, wider collection of Glen's shots featuring approximately 350 mostly colour images of the pioneers, iconoclasts and madmen of skateboarding, punk and rap. Each shot captures an honest, intimate moment of power from the likes of Minor Threat, Black Flag, Tony Alva, Germs, Run DMC, TSOL, The Ramones, Public Enemy and many more.

(Excerpt) In the 18th Century, European philosophers proposed the notion of the sublime. Implicit to this concept was the sense that nature was too overwhelming and terrifying to contempllate and man was powerless before it. In the photographic arts Henri Cartier-Bresson articulated the the mental construct of the decisive moment a couple of centuries later. To Cartier-Bresson the essence of art was reduced to the importance of a split-second occurrence. The documentary work of Glen E. Friedman goes beyond the philosophical tenets to embrace the vitality of the banalities that are integers of daily living and the extremists that who obsessively deal with them. These things that we all do and encounter yet seldom focus on are interpreted by a few visionaries who are seen in his photos. Glen extols the virtues of these independents who function beyond the constictive boundries of the societal norm. The actions of his subjects may seem bizaare to some, but Friedman reveals the basic logic, initiative and integrity all possess as well as their openess to their surroundings. His innate understanding corressponds to his personal participation in these activites. The basic GEF equation is: he Does, he Sees, he Communicates. Cognito ergo sum.
