About the Author:
Christopher Howard, the go-to guy for Retirement in Costa Rica. Christopher Howard has lived and worked in Costa Rica for more than 30 years and is a citizen of the country. During time he has resided in Costa Rica he has had the opportunity to gather a plethora of information about living and investing here and is considered to be the pioneer in the field of retirement in not only Costa Rica and but in all of Central America. Because of his expertise, he is a frequent lecturer at numerous retirement and investment seminars. He has also worked as a paid consultant for National Geographic Magazine, published articles and columns in Costa Rica Today newspaper, Inside Costa Rica newspaper, AM Costa Rica newspaper, Costa Rica Outdoors magazine, the real estate publication Casa Galeria, the popular website Escape Artist.com, and for various newsletters about living and retiring abroad. Christopher has an extensive foreign language background, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American studies, a Master s degree in Spanish from the University of California and also did graduate studies in Mexico before moving to Costa Rica.
