ROBERT WINSHIP was born "west of the Pecos" in Iraan, Texas, the son of a high school principal and part-time rancher. He now lives and writes in Houston and at the family ranch near Junction, Texas. Winship's stories have appeared in such journals as Concho River Review, Hawaii Review, RE Arts and Letters, and The Texas Review.
