About the Author

Barry K. Weinhold, PhD is Professor Emeritus at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where he founded the Counseling and Human Services MA program and taught for 30+years. He a licensed psychologist since 1976 and the author of 56 books in addiction, conflict resolution, developmental trauma, family counseling and men’s issues. Dr. Weinhold currently co-directs the Colorado Institute for Conflict Resolution & Creative Leadership in Colorado Springs and is a Core Faculty member at the Intercultural Open University Foundation (IOUF), where he teaches doctoral learners in psychology. He has been married to Dr. Janae Weinhold for past 32 years. The Weinholds have four children between them and several grandchildren. Barry is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys living in the mountains of Colorado.
