About the Author
Born in Scotland, educated at Cambridge, Georgia Tech and Dundee, Philip Todd has been writing and writing about mathematical software for 20 years. Previous books include "An Atlas of the Four Bar Linkage" and "The Geometry of Biological Shape Change". He lives in Oregon with his wife, two daughters and five sets of skis.
