Written in a question-and-answer style, this is about the best book yet (and there are many) to help the patient-to-be decide what to do about his prostate problem. Reading the introduction alone could save thousands of lives and possibly prevent a great number of unnecessary procedures. Virtually nothing is omitted, from the different kinds of surgery to radiation to tests to medicines to diet. Everything seems accurate (except information on dietary cholesterol, which has since gone by the boards) and cleverly written. The book leaves nothing out except tips on how to find an experienced urologist. Recommended for popular medical collections.
