About the Author
REMY CHARLIP is an artist, writer, dancer, teacher, theater director, choreographer, and creator of such modern classics as Fortunately, I Love You, Arm in Arm and Mother Mother I Feel Sick, Send for the Doctor, Quick, Quick, Quick. He lives in San Francisco, California.
LILIAN MOORE was the author of many books of poetry and prose and was the winner of the NCTE award for poetry for children. She lived in Seattle, Washington.

Williams's watercolors depict dancing people of all colors-yellow, brown, even green and blue-celebrating themselves and their family relationships: phrases like "I am my big sister's baby brother" and "I am my cousin's cousin," painted in wild colors, are part of the pictures. New page borders by Williams add to the psychedelic effect.

Ages 4^-7. Larger and livelier than the original (1975) book, which has been out of print, this version of Hooray for Me! gives an old favorite a new look. An upbeat cover illustration invites readers. Inside, new patterned borders in popsicle colors frame and enlarge the pages, and shinier paper gives the artwork a bright glow.
