About the Author

Ernie Malaga has been working with computers since 1980, including IBM System/36 and the AS/400. A contributor of articles to Midrange Computing since 1990, Ernie joined the company full time in 1996. Ernie currently holds a position as Senior Technical Editor for Midrange Computing Magazine.
