The volume is written with the general reading audience in mind. It is intended for use in both college and seminary courses, yet it will appeal to the informed layperson. It is an expression of my strong desire to present academics, students, pastors, and laypeople with a fresh approach to Revelation so as to assist them in exploring the meaning of the book from the text through the procedure of biblical exegesis, rather than through allegorical imagination.
