About the Author
Merlin Hughes has extensive research and industry experience in cryptography, networking and distributed systems. Michael Shoffner is an expert in networking, distributed systems and OO design. Derek Hamner specializes in collaborative systems and network programming. All three are extensively published, and are regular contributors to JavaWorld and java.sun.com.
