As a young man, he distinguished himself by flipping spitwads far and with great accuracy while a high school student and also for once eating nearly an entire watermelon in one sitting.

Considerable money was invested in his education which he actively pursued.

As an adult he has so far (as of 7/20/94) never been arrested for murder and he still has all of his own teeth.

From Chapter 1: Do you often feel that you are surrounded by idiots? To me they seem to be everywhere. They are in my office, on the job, attempting to wait on me, in the classroom, even in my home. In fact, it is entirely possible that you, the person who is attempting to read this book right now, could even be a complete idiot.

What can be the real tragedy about this deluge of bumbling incompetence is that many people who are incredibly stupid and terminally obnoxious don't even realize it! Do you know how annoying it is when people who don't know how dumb they are try to act smart?

Even if you, yourself, are not totally inundated with idiots like I am, I'm sure you at least know someone who has idiotic tendencies. Until now, there was simply nothing that you could do about it. Most idiots were stuck bumbling around and doing embarrassing things forever while the rest of us were forced to try to either avoid them, or just tolerate their stupidity.

But now, finally, relief is in sight. This monumental work can train you, your pathetic friends, children, employees, or students in 101 of the most important and fundamental skills that are essential to getting along in life as an idiot. If you can manage to master the information taught in this course, even if you are pretty darned dense, some people might be fooled into thinking that you're normal and, short of that, you might at least confuse some of the rest of the people concerning the extent of your stupidity.
