There are villains to remove, treasure to recover, assassins to detect, mysteries to solve, betrayal to repay, voyages to survive, and heroes to recognize. If the action pauses, it is only to breathe deeply before plunging into more spine twisting adventure. The time is now, and the story roams from Mexico to the wilds of the Idaho Rockies. There are stops in cities as well-both Chicago and Washington DC. None are to see the sights. Pardners will grip the reader-as Roy Chandler books always do. Prepare to lose sleep, and if you are forced away, you will ache to return to all 453 Shoot Em and Bury Em pages of valiant, all-man discovery.

Roy Chandler has spent a lifetime gaining the experiences a man of his era believed important. He describes himself (as is already in place on his gravestone) as an Author, Educator, Soldier and Patriot. He should add Adventurer because that is what he really has been. As a writer, he has had more than sixty books published. As an educator, he held, among other positions, Head Teacher of the Birch School in the Fairbanks North Star School System. A soldier? He served twenty years in the US Army. Patriotism is a part of military service, of course, and the author served in the Pacific during WWII and the Korean Conflict. Roy Chandler (most call him Rocky because he lived on Alcatraz Island for four youthful years) rides Harley-Davidsons as most men drive their pickups. Adventuring? He is still at it, and... just keeps going.
