Reviews

Knaus, who teaches workshops on Medicare regulations and clearly understands the ins and outs of Medicare, offers this book as a reference guide to the program's complexities for the lay person. She explains what Medicare does and does not cover and how the program works, including such topics as bundling, entitlements, fraud, Medigap insurance, and the appeals process. Sample forms are included, and a clear glossary and helpful appendixes add much to the guide's usefulness. Recommended for health and public library collections.?Anne C.
