About the Author
Richard Speight has served thirty years in pastoral ministry. He has a B.A. from Creighton University and an M. Div. from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. He is known for his passion for Jesus and trusted for his prayerful counsel. Richard and his wife Kim have two grown children, Emily and Daniel. Richard retired in 2006 after 27 years as a United Methodist pastor. The Speights now invest their lives in helping people rest in and release Jesus love. Pastor Richard and Kimberly Speight founded Come Rest Ministries ministry to help people learn to rest in Jesus' love through encounters, retreats, training small groups, and consulting for churches, ministries, and leaders. Richard is available to speak in a variety of ministry and secular settings.
