Michael De Luca is a designer of many talents. In addition to being a licensed general contractor, an NKBA Teaching Professional, and an award winning interior designer, Michael is on a continual learning path. Frustrated with the lack of lighting information the indusry could understand, Michael set out to reorganize lighting manufacturers' specifications into a format that could be easily applied by kitchen and bathroom designers. In the process, Michael taught himself computer programming, from which he developed the kitchen and bathroom industry's first lighting design software. LightCalc is the result of Michael's reorganization of lighting specifications. The program automatically calculates lighting designs for kitchen and bath projects.
Michael's NKBA sponsored lighting seminar, "Kitchen and Bath Lighting...made easy" has received rave reviews from participants, lighting manufacturers and lighting designers.
