Beginning with a discussion of water quality in the first section, the papers go on to discuss water quality monitoring in Section 2, water pollution in Section 3, municipal landfills and underground storage in Section 4, wastewater treatment in Section 5, ecosystem modeling in Section 6, and environmental risk in Section 7.

About the Author
Dr. Vijay P. Singh is Arthur K. Barton Endowed Professor at Louisiana State University. Winner of more than 30 awards, he is a multi-faceted author, writing and co-authoring: 8 text books, 30 book chapters, numerous journal articles, conference proceedings papers and technical reports in the areas of hydrology, hydraulics, irrigation, and environmental engineering.
Professor J. H. Sonu is formerly President of Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. Currently, he is President of Korea Water Resources Association as well Korea Society of Civil Engineers. He has authored numerous journal articles and technical publications. He has been honored many times both in Korea and abroad for his technical contributions.
Dr. I. W. Seo is professor of civil and environmental engineering in the School of Civil and Urban Infrastructure Engineering at Seoul National University. He is active in research in the area of hydraulics and environmental engineering and has authored numerous journal articles and conference proceedings papers.
