Synopsis
This is a tutorial manual for the beginning user of Pro/MANUFACTURING. The manual assumes the user has a basic working knowledge of Pro/ENGINEER and CNC milling. It guides the user through several examples that start with a simple click-by-click procedure to perform a volume milling sequence for the beginner to gain a basic familiarity with the manufacturing module. The manual includes a discussion of hole making, volume milling, profile milling and surface milling. The last section, on surface milling, discusses more sophisticated approaches and includes a discussion of various hints and techniques for solving problems and generating procedures to develop the milling process.
