About the Author
W. F. Peate has lived and worked with native peoples and healers in east Africa and South America, and in the reservations and barrios of the Southwest as a physician and professor of community medicine. Dr. Peate is a native of the Southwest whose maternal grandparents were affiliated with the Mohawk and Onondaga tribes. His writing has appeared in Newsweek and several articles and books including On the Serendipity Road.
