About the Author
Southern California native Scott E. Sutton speaks with 10,000 kids per year about art and education. His work has been honored with the International Reading Association Award for Exemplary Service in the Promotion of Literacy and the President's Recommended Selection from the Society of Writers at the United Nations. He and his wife Susie recently moved to Austin, Texas.

The left hand pages have a smaller part of the same illustrations and poems about the subjects in the illustrations. All of the characters are on the Planet of Ree. On the blank page facing the title page, the author drew one of the BeeBee characters, below which he signed his name and the year 2005. A book owner's name is above the drawing.
