"Jay Patterson's Grammar Works includes everything teacher and their students need to know about syntax and grammar, forgotten elements in many of today's classrooms. Designed to complement phonics-based reading programs, this text can be used in all language arts classrooms. The multi-level, multisensory lessons range from learning how to produce printed and cursive handwriting, to parts of speech, sentence construction, punctuation, and paragraph writing. This is a book that will enhance all teachers' instruction for all children. Grammar Works really works! -- Marcia K. Henry, Ph. D., Professor Emeritus, San Jose University, Past President, The International Dyslexia Association
