But in the ten years since the first writing of Developing Technical Training, much as changed in technology-driven instruction.
The most dramatic differences are advances in technological delivery capabilities. Ten years ago most computer training was mainframe delivered. It was limited to text and to very simple keyboard graphics. Colors were minimal and there was no sound or animation. Simulations consisted of procedural demonstrations on the use of mainframe computer systems. Today, all that has changed. Virtually all the computer examples in the book have been updated to examples drawn from web-based training or CD-ROM.

About the Author
