'Earth History and Lost Civilizations' focuses upon a series of channelled messages and intuitive insights from inner plane guides Speaks of Many Truths and Zoosh by writer, researcher and channel Robert Shapiro.

Robert has had extensive experience with extra-terrestrials from several star systems and other dimensions and it is through them that he reveals a great deal about the ancient origins of our planet and the way that human life was deliberately developed by the Sirians.

In this volume, the tenth in 'The Explorer Race' series, the author deals with the revolutionary concept that the Earth was once in orbit in the Sirius star system before being moved here, to its current position in our Solar System.

It is maintained that originally the planet was more extensively covered in water whilst at its earlier location and that as a consequence the form of conscious life that developed on the planet at that time was pre-dominantly aquatic. These beings formed an early version of our cetacean sea creatures (dolphins, porpoises etc).

An earlier example of these creatures in Earth's ancient history can be found in records telling of the Nummos - a form of half-man and half-fish that once appeared throughout the Mediterranean area and who were credited with teaching mankind many sciences and skills.

The book also traces the spread of other Sirian-based humanoids throughout the World detailing the unique skills they brought with them. These races were in many ways considered to be alien, or extra-terrestrial in source but the book maintains that they were in many ways native to this planet through its close and previously established connection between the Soul of the Earth, Gaia, and the Sirius star system.

The material presented in this book is formed around transcripts of questions and answers sessions that the author had with his guides from mid to late 1998. It is illustrated throughout with pictures and diagrams to clarify and enhance the reading experience.

This is a book that adds another, very important, level of understanding regarding the ancient and highly revered connection between our own planet Earth and the Sirius star system.

Once you get used to the idea that it is possible to actually move a planetary body the size of ours from one location to another nearly 9 light years away then this becomes a book that opens up several delightful and interesting concepts.

I share my misgivings over channelled material for exactly the same as other readers will but Robert Shapiro has a proved track record in this regard.

Whether the material here is accurate or not is open to debate but where this book excels, and even manages to dispel some of my own concerns regarding its legitimacy, lies in the fact that throughout its pages there are copious examples of photos of ancient artefacts and diagrams that at the very least add to the readers enjoyment but also add a great deal of credence to many of the books radical claims.

Whilst this is not a book that deals exclusively with Sirius it does contain a great deal of insight and tantalising speculation that will be of great interest to researchers of the Sirian mysteries. It is well presented, closely follows a central narrative and is a most enjoyable read.

One would hope that in time archaeologists are able to unearth enough real evidence to conclusively support and enhance the material in this book. Until then we will have to file it away as a fascinating and deeply intriguing mystery that, if proven to be correct, could have a profound impact on how we view ourselves as a species as well as the cultural, religious ad scientific roots of our earliest cultural societies. --Mysteries of Sirius.com
