Synopsis
The second issue of "Rattapallax" (Wallace Stevens' word for the sound of thunder) is an extraordinary collection of contemporary poetry and prose. Edited by George Dickerson (former Editor of "Story" and Contributing Editor at "Time"), the journal recaptures the music of the language and the mystery of good poetry by gathering a diverse array of poets and short-fiction writers. Also, includes artwork. A full-lenght CD is attached to the back of the book featuring poems from the journal read by the poets.

About the Author
Edited by George Dickerson who has been on the editorial staffs of "The New Yorker," "Cavalier" (Managing Editor), "Story" (The Editor), and "Time" (Contributing Editor). George's fiction has twice been anthologized in "The Best American Short Stories of 1963" and "1966". His poetry has appeared in "The New Yorker," "Mademoiselle," "Nadada," and "Pivot" and has been nominated for Pushcart prize.
