About the Author
Frank Berto is the former engineering editor of Bicycling Magazine and the author of two other bicycle books: Bicycling Magazine's Guide to Upgrading Your Bicycle and The Birth of Dirt: The Origins of Mountain Biking. He currently is technical correspondent for Australian Cyclist.
