Steven Babitsky, JD, is the president of SEAK, Inc, which he founded in 1980. He was a personal injury trial attorney for 20 years and is the former managing partner of the firm Kistin, Babitsky, Latimer & Beitman. He is the seminar leader for the National Expert Witness and Litigation Seminar and was the long time editor of the Expert Witness Journal. Attorney Babitsky is the co-author of numerous texts including Litigating Stress Cases in Workers' Compensation and Understanding The AMA Guides in Workers' Compensation.
James J. Mangraviti, Jr., JD has trained hundreds of expert witnesses across the United States and Canada. He is a former trial lawyer with experience in defense and plaintiff personal injury law and insurance law. He currently serves as vice-president and general counsel of SEAK, Inc. Mr. Mangraviti received his BA degree in mathematics summa cum laude from Boston College and his JD degree cum laude from Boston College Law School. His publications include the texts SEAK Law School For Physicians, Law School For The Safety and Health Professional, The Independent Medical Examination Report: A Step-by-Step Guide with Models, The Successful Physician Negotiator: How To Get What You Deserve, How to Excel During Cross-Examination: Techniques for Experts That Work, and How to Excel During Depositions: Techniques for Experts That Work.
Christopher J. Todd, JD is the Assistant Vice President of SEAK, Inc. He is actively involved with expert witness issues as an author, editor and trainer. He has researched extensively the law affecting expert witnesses and their role in American jurisprudence, has contributed to the Expert Witness Journal and conducted much of the research underlying the development of How to Excel During Depositions: Techniques For Experts That Work (SEAK, 1999). Christopher has also developed internet- and audiotape-based training programs for SEAK, directs SEAK web marketing efforts, and develops the SEAK website. He graduated from the University of California, Davis, School of Law, where he served as a Staff Editor for the UC Davis Law Review. He obtained his BA in Comparative Area Studies from Duke University.
