Sisters Cynthia Herbison Tambornino and Priscillia Herbison, each have a unique perspective on grandparenting. The mother of eight children and fourteen grandchildren, Tambornino has experienced just about every family dynamic a grandparent could imagine. And her extensive community involvement has given her a deeper appreciation and knowledge of the many faces of family circumstance.
Herbison speaks both as spiritual grandmother of numerous nieces and nephews, and a professional in the social sciences. Herbison directs the Master of Arts in Human Development program at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Illinois and a law degree from The University of Minnesota Law School. This is Herbison's second book, following GOD KNOWS We Get Angry: Healthy Ways to Deal With It.
