About the Author

Since he began his collection in 1983, Richard Mix has amassed the World's largest and most complete collection of commemorative Coca-Cola bottles. His pursuit of the hobby has taken him around the globe touring bottling plants and visiting with collectors in over 25 countries on five continents including; Australia, China, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Slovakia, Spain, Thialand, and Venezuela among others.

Richard is an active member of the Coca-Cola Collectors Club, an 7,000 member organization for Coke memorabilia enthusiasts, and has served as President of the Atlanta Chapter.

Richard authored The Mix Guide to Commemorative Coca-Cola Bottles in 1990 as well as five supplemental Cross-Refrence Guides on the subject. He has also written dozens of articles on commemorative bottles for numerous publications on collectibles.
