I wrote Faces of Huntington's not as a medical person, but as a family member who knows what it's like to see someone I love die bit by bit. My frustration at the lack of stories about those who were dealing with the same issues, prompted me to learn more. Hundreds of stories, poems and essays were submitted on categories such as caregiving, being at-risk, testing, suicide, death, finding support and more. It was an honor to work with such giving individuals from around the world in making Faces of Huntington's a reality.
