Chester Brown is one of the pioneers of the 1980s comix renaissance. He was born in 1960 in Montreal but lives today in Toronto.

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Very nice copy of the limited issue of the first printing that has a tipped in signed and numbered print titled "Why Louis Riel's Parents Got Married". It is unclear if each copy contained the same print or if there is some variation. Book is so very nearly fine, with just some rubbing to corners and one good bump at foot of spine, promotional band issued is present and without damage, but transfer from rubbing can be noticed in a few spots. Quarto, printed cloth covers, promotional slip wrap, 272 pages. Satisfaction guaranteed. Additional photos always available on request. Shipped in a fitted, padded box. Signed by Author(s).
