Punk rock, heavy drugs, and a sleazy lifestyle changes one man's life forever.

Born in Liverpool, Tim moved with his family to a sleepy and introverted seaside town on the South Wales coast in the late 1970s, setting a lifelong pattern of alienation and a discomfort with the status quo. After a youth (mis)spent working a variety of jobs taken primarily to secure cash for gigs, and an education in behavioral psychology and anthropology, Tim made a truly life changing move to America and then Canada. Whilst there, he taught marksmanship and riflery, worked in radio, both producing and presenting, and dipped into the life of road crew and guitar technician for various punk bands across the US and Canada. It was this period in his life that cemented Tim's resolve to mix his passion for music, his desire to write and his talent for human observation. On his return to the UK, Tim created and produced Mass Movement, a music and lifestyle fanzine, that has evolved over the years way beyond it's humble photocopied origins into the hugely respected and often imitated punk rock institution it is today. Tim has been married for eight years and is the adoring father of a two year old little girl, to whom this book is dedicated.
