Synopsis
This volume comprises Joe Ruggier's previously published collections of prose and verse - The Voice of the Millions, In the Suburbs of Europe, regrets hopes regards and prayers ..., Lady Vancouver, A Richer Blessing, and Songs of Gentlest Reflection - with newer, unpublished work in Part 7. Absolutely all repetitions in between the various sections have been weeded out. These Collected Poems also exclude all poetry published in This Eternal Hubbub. Out of Blue Nothing, a bestselling sequence of 24 sonnets, as well as The Dark Side of the Deity, which features the author's attempt to make the Papacy art, as well as poems featured in Art and Revealed Religion ... do not feature herein. Purely in the vested interests of effective distribution, the author does not want the slightest repetition whatsoever in between these two volumes. The writing in this volume dates as far back as 1974 with new work created as recently as 2009. Broadly reflecting a movement from older work to newer, the order is strictly chronological, but the whole has been subject to revision.
