Michael Kutz est né à Nies?wiez? en Pologne (aujourd?hui en Biélorussie) le 21 novembre 1930. Orphelin, il est arrivé au Canada en 1948 et a habité à Winnipeg avant de s?installer à Montréal au début des années 1950 où il s?est engagé dans diverses organisations caritatives destinées à aider les jeunes désavantagés, les personnes âgées et les anciens combattants. Aujourd?hui, il raconte son histoire de l?Holocauste aux élèves de Montréal, où il habite avec sa femme, Pat.
