About the Author:
Ron Corbett is an author, journalist and broadcaster living in Ottawa. Host of CFRA's popular evening show Unscripted, he is also a columnist with the Ottawa Sun. Ron's previous book The Last Guide was a Canadian bestseller and he has won numberous awards for his writing, including two National Newpaper Awards.
He lives not far from the Rideau River with well-known photojournalist Julie Oliver and their children. He admits he always wanted to take a raft trip dow the Ottawa River -- just never thought he would do it on a square-timber crib.
