About the Author:

Nicholas Hytner is a theatre and film director. He has directed productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre including premieres of Joshua Sobol's Ghetto and The Madness of George 111. In New York he has directed Miss Saigon and the Lincoln Center productions of Carousel and Twelfth Night. Feature films include The Madness of King George and The Crucible.
