There is a gift presentation on title-page. Derek Miller, the international stamp designer, explains the background and rationale behind 'The Queen Mother's Century' omnibus issue he created. Some of his earlier original drawings and stamp concepts are published here for the fisrt time. There are six actual examples of the stamps affixed to the verso of the front endpaper. There are small residues of tape remaining (6mm by 26mm, and 16mm by 21mm) on the endpapers; else a near fine copy, in a fine d/w, of a SCARCE first edition, first printing SIGNED BY DEREK MILLER, STAMP DESIGNER.
