Feelings
It is, of course, a cheap joke to suggest that the very idea of men's feelings is a contradiction in terms. Men do have feelings, and they are not just all over their body.
Sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex
A man knows he is in love when he finds himself thinking not just about sex every six minutes, but about sex every six minutes with the same woman.
The male heart
Men are suckers for approval. A nod and a smile go a long way to winning the male heart. They want to feel that women have noticed them and that women need them. Best of all would be if women admire them. They'd also like to feel that women trusted them, but that's probably hoping for too much.
When no means yes
It is a fatal error to box a man into a corner. But give him the opportunity to say no, and he is more likely to say yes.

What are men about? This is a question that has perplexed women since the first Neanderthal beefcake dragged a carcass into the cave with a hopeful grin all over his face.
For five million years, science has been unable to answer the question. But where science fails, the bluffer succeeds.
Bluffer's Guides is a series of snappy little books containing facts, jargon, and all you need to know for instant expertise.
Antony Mason is the author of some 40 books on travel, exploration, history, geography, spying, volleyball, house plants, the Belgians... In other words, he is a consummate bluffer, though he would not put it like that, publicly at least.
Like most males, as a boy he was constantly urged to be a man. Now that he is one, he realises that this is one of the world's greatest bluffs. Although well into his forties, if separated from a mirror he imagines he is about 18, and certainly wishes he was - were it possible to do without all those sticky agonies of adolescence.
'In your dreams,' interjects his wife. 'Forty-something going on fourteen,' she would say. But then women think they know all about men - a prejudice that the author would like to shoot down with all guns blazing. Neeeeorrrrrr! Dat...dat...dat...dat...dat...dat!
